Mail order is acceptable - just send a picture of your quilt and measurements
with a choice or idea of pattern and I can give you an estimate which can be
confirmed on receipt of your quilt.
Registered Mail with Australia Post is a good idea for sending quilts around the country
Post and Packaging will be added but there is no handling fee.

An Example of the how to work out what it might cost
Measure your quilt top through the centre from top to bottom to get the length
Measure your quilt top through the centre from side to side to get the width.
Then calculate using the formula below.
Example only - 60" x 80" = 4800 square inches
4800 square inches divided by 144 = 33.33 square feet
33.33 square feet x $4.00 = $132.30

Pre-requisites needed for your quilt

If you are supplying the backing and wadding - it needs to be at least 3" larger
than the top of the quilt on all sides. This allows for loading into the machine.
All threads need to be trimmed from the front and back of the quilt top and all
seams to be ironed flat - this applies to any pieced backing.
Mark the top of the quilt with a pin or tag. There is no need to pin your layers
together as they will need to be undone before putting through my machine. All prices subject to periodical change. I will also design, make and complete a quilt to your liking from start to finish.

Quilts for the week...

These two quilts were UFO's out of my own quilt stash that have been sitting waiting to be finished for a while. The first is a Storm at Sea that was foundation pieced and then stippled all over.
The second is hand appliqued and quilted with a lovely heart pattern to compliment the patchwork pattern.

Some pretty ones...

Jenny's Noshi Wall Hanging - Hand Appliqued with satin and brocade borders. Quilted in variegated purple tones in a small freehand meandering pattern.

Angels Floral Flannel - flannel on both back and front - lovely and warm! Quilted with a freehand loop pattern.

Kay's Kolourful Kwilts - nice colours, warm and cosy looking. Quilted with a curly feather pattern and a simple meandering curly feather pattern.

A beautiful male quilt....

A lovely quilt for a male!

Who am I?....

....I have a background in clothing and textiles going back over 30 something years. In amongst that time is 22 years of quilting experience.
I 'stumbled' across quilting quite by accident (was more or less dragged to a quilt meeting by my best friend really!) and became hooked straight away.
There is nothing that I dont like doing more than sitting and sewing a quilt whether it be designed by myself or a commercial pattern. The satisfaction of a finished piece of work takes a lot of beating (other than eating chocolate!)
I have a Gamill Longarm and can offer you the finest finish for your quilt. Whether it is that "unfinished" top hiding in your cupboard or that special gift you want for someone or something nice to put on your bed, come and see me and we can discuss what we can do to get it out of the cupboard and get your quilt completed.
